Can I add an IDE hard drive to a Revision A Beige G3?
Revision A Beige G3s, do not support more than one device on a ribbon cable. If you want to add more drives to a Revision A Beige G3, you will need to install an IDE PCI controller card, and use it to run the new drive. This can be accomplished for as low as $49 and will greatly accelerate your overall performance - an excellent upgrade.
